HR Trader’s Marquee streams security information in the most flexible real-time quote displays. With Marquee, you can combine real-time data of securities in a variety of customizable displays.

Marquee Settings

The content of Marquee can be customized in three different models. Click to the ‘…’ button to open Marquee Settings screen.

  1. Positions: Marquee that shows updated quotes of all the symbols you traded and created a position for
  2. WatchList: Marquee that shows updated quotes of the three different types of securities: Stocks, Forex or Indices.
  3. Custom: Customize marquee that shows updated quotes of your specifically preferred symbols

Each widget has few icons in the header section. They allow you to perform few actions with this widget, such as rename it and open it on the fullscreen. Also you could group few widgets and delete each widget from working space.

Rename Widget

If you want to rename the widget click the null icon. Then type new widget name in Window Name field.

Fullscreen

Click the null icon to open widget in a full screen and click to the null icon to restore size to window.

Grouping Widgets

HR Trader allows you to group few widgets. News, Chart and Watchlist widgets will display the information about same security if they are grouped. Click the null icon and set the same color for widgets which should be grouped.

Remove Widget

To delete widget from working space you should click null to the icon.

This section allows you to configure the working space, make changes in user settings, send your feedback and add new price alert. All these controls are necessary for the fast navigation.

User Settings

Click null to navigate to the User Settings.

This page enables you to customize your layout,update the time zone, personal information, trading options as well as add your own picture. User settings contains few parts: Profile, Trading, Layout Settings, and other.

Help Screen

Click null to navigate to the Help Screen.

If you have queries about the signup or you would like to send your feedback about the platform, you can do so by simply clicking on contact support located in the upper right side. You can also use Contact Support anytime while using the platform in case you have any question you might not find in this user guide.

Add Price Alert

Click null will show you a Price Alert Screen.

If you want to receive a notification that the price for the security you are interested in has changed this screen will help you to config such price alert.

Switch Language

HR Trader provides users with multilingual support. You can change languages of your HR Trader terminal and the changes will take effect right away, without the need to restart the program again.

Logout

Click null to navigate to the Login Page.

Pin/Unpin Header Panel

Click null to unpin header panel from the working space. Header will be showing when you mouse over to the top of the working space.

Lock/Unlock Layout

Click null to lock all changes on your layout and click null to unlock your layout for changes.

To add a watchlist, click  

Then give your watchlist a name and click “create”.

If you have multiple watchlists you can move between them by clicking 

To delete a watchlist, click  while viewing the watchlist you wish to delete.

To add a symbol, type the symbol in the symbol field.

Either press enter one your keyboard or select the symbol from the dropdown menu.

To delete a symbol, click in the delete column for the symbol you want to delete.

To close a position, click  in the close column of the position widget.

An order ticket will open to place your order.

To cancel an order, click  in the cancel column of the order widget.

Then a verification screen will open and you need to click  to cancel the order.

To edit an order, click in the order widget.

Then an order ticket will emerge so you can edit your order.

To place a spread order, go to an option chain widget.

Refer to the center of the option chain.

To enter the spread, click the black box in the column next to the strike price of your first leg of the order. One click will show . The green “B” refers to a buy order for that specified contract. Two clicks in that black box will show . The red “S” refers to a sell order for that specified contract. The field next to either the “B” or “S” refers to the amount of contracts you wish to submit the order for that specific contract.

Once you have your desired legs entered and have specified the amount of contracts you wish to submit the order for, go to the bottom of the option chain widget and click the “Trade” button.

An order ticket will open for you to submit your spread trade.

The ability to place multi-leg orders with a stock leg will be available in a future version of the platform.

If you have forgotten your password, you will need to access the home page of the customer account management portal and then click on the link next to the ‘forgot your password’ text, as shown below.

You will then be asked to enter your login ID that you received when your account was opened.

Finally, you will need to answer some basic security questions in order to confirm your identity. This will allow you to select a new password.

How do I access my account related documents (such as confirmations, statements and tax documents)?2018-03-06T14:16:16-04:00

In the web portal, click on the E-Documents tab on the blue navigation bar. This will take you to a page that will include tabs to access your account confirmations, statements and tax documents.

How do I view my balances and positions in the web portal?2018-03-06T15:02:05-04:00

In the web portal, click on the Account Info tab on the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen and then click the Balances & Positions link. Please note, the account management portal is view-only, and balances and positions are updated once after the end of each trading day. To obtain a real-time snapshot of your account, along with real-time stock quotes, you will need to access your account via the HR Trader web or mobile trading platform.

How do I view my daily account activity and transaction history?2018-03-06T15:02:53-04:00

In the web portal, click on the Account Info tab on the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen and then click on the Acct Activity link. This will bring you to a page where you can view your trade history and non-trade activity based on your preferred search criteria (date range or security symbol).

How do I view my unrealized/realized gains and losses?2018-03-06T15:03:36-04:00

In the web portal, click on the Account Info tab on the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen and then click on the Tax Lot Portfolio link. This will take you to a screen that will have the unrealized gains or losses of all of your current holdings.

On the far right of the web page, you can click on the View Realized Gains and Losses link in order to view your realized gains or losses.
